Arash Niavarani, Australia

ArashNiavarani is based in Melbourne, Australia and is an ASQ and IASSC accredited trainer for Lean Six Sigma and IRCA certified lead auditor for quality, safety and environmental management systems. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Melbourne University and pursuing a second PhD in Business Analytics in Healthcare from DeakinUnversity. He has been a coach, consultant and lead auditor for more than 100 successful lean six sigma projects in healthcare, manufacturing, oil, gas, petrochemicals and mining with millions of dollars of documented savings.

John Fraser, United Kingdom

John Fraser is based in Cheshire, United Kingdom, and is a GE-trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is a Continuous Improvement Leader with extensive accomplishments in Aerospace, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas, Financial Services, Healthcare and Public Sector. In Healthcare, his work has been with Leeds and Hertfordshire NHS Trusts and utilizes up-to-date disciplines and statistical techniques to apply Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques that underpin patient focused strategic change and improvement. He has coached more than 1000 LSS professionals and authored a number of books and papers on lean, six sigma and statistical techniques on problem solving.

Esther Mveng, Switzerland

Esther Mveng is based in Neuchatel, Switzerland, is an Aerospace Engineer, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is the founder of S.C.E Experts Consultants, Mveng & Associates and the International Academy of Operational Excellence. She brings to us an experience spanning more than twenty five years as a Lean Six Sigma practitioner heading improvement projects and trained thousands of LSS practitioners in industries like Aerospace, Banking, Insurance, Education, Pharmaceuticals, Marketing, Food and Beverage, Automotive, Healthcare, and IT with focus on service quality, operational metrics, and organizational change management.

Yohan van der Bijl, Netherlands

Yohan van der Bijl is based in Denventer, Netherlands and is a certified Master Black Belt with extensive experience in implementing and coaching improvement projects based on Lean and Six Sigma, especially in hospitals. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare: from nursing and radiology through IT and project management to the areas of quality and safety and process improvement. Delphine Victoria is based in Ontario, Canada and is a Medical graduate, specialist in Forensic Science, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, an ISO, NABH and NABL accreditation trainer and a Haggai Institute, Singapore trained Leadership expert. She has worked with Apollo Specialty Hospitals as Assistant Medical Superintendent and implemented quality systems across all departments.

Ricardo Armando Otero, Argentina

Ricardo Armando Otero is a very senior medical practitioner and healthcare quality professional, healthcare quality assessor from Quilmes, República Argentina with a career spanning more than 4 decades. He has worked for numerous hospitals, public and private social security bodies, National and Provincial MOHs as a healthcare quality expert and now serves as the Technical Director of ITAES (Technical Institute for Healthcare Organisations Accreditation), Quality Manager of El Cruce Hospital, International Surveyor for The International Society for Quality in Health Care and a private consultant in health care management. He has even developed educational activities in several argentine public and private universities and has published more than sixty papers on healthcare quality and management.

Katarzyna Złotowska, Poland

Katarzyna Złotowska is based in Poznan, Poland and is a Lean Healthcare expert and quality engineer, working in public and private medical sectors, IRCA certified lead auditor for quality. She is responsible for Clinical Process Optimization and Six Sigma implementation in the capacity of a Green Belt to improve patient safety and patient flow with value added activities and providing risk assessment. She is the Founder of ‘Lean Hospitals’ and author of several articles about lean healthcare. She is the winner of the 2nd award of LEI Poland for the Best Case Study about Lean Implementation in Service Sector in Poland. She is passionate about innovative solutions, people communication, visual management and problem resolving.

Jimmy Kayastha based in San Francisco, United States is the Director of Quality Control and Assurance at Unlimited Smiles Dental Group. He is a consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Craniofacial Pain Medicine. He is also a Biomedical Informatics Research Scientist who worked in implementing the National Institute of Health, human microbiome project to establish an oral-systemic health cohort for research across multiple U.S. institutions.

Dr. Hugo Guajardo Guzman is based in Chile, and is the Chairman of the Board of Fundación para la Seguridad del Paciente, Chile and is a Fellow of American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a Member of National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), US and ISQua. He has been the past President of Sociedad Chilena de Calidad Asistencial (SOCCAS) and has an expansive career working on healthcare accreditation and safety standards, presently engaged as a Technical Director of GECASEP (Gestión de Calidad en Salud y Seguridad del Paciente) Ltd.

YC Lee is based in United States and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a proven track record of implementing sustained process improvements in diverse industries, who is currently a freelance consultant for Tzu Chi Hospitals in Taiwan. She has over 20 years of cross-cultural work experience in healthcare, biomedical industry, global manufacturing and engineering. She has successfully applied both lean and six sigma continuous improvement methodologies, creating value for customer quality and delivery, while significantly reducing costs and lead time. She is a change leader and transformed businesses with her creative problem solving, project management and leadership skills.

Martin Lush is based in North Yorkshire, England and is the President of NSF Health Sciences Pharma Biotech Consulting. He is also a Fellow of Institute of Biomedical Medical Sciences, Member of Institute of Biology, Hon. Lecturer at University of Strathclyde, and a Member of the Parenteral Drug Association. Tobias Kuners of Koenders, Netherlands

Tobias Kuners of Koe​nders is a Chemical Technologist and Masters in Manufacturing Management based in Netherlands and is an Operational Support Specialist with more than 25 years of experience across facilities services, maintenance, engineering, validation, packaging and supply chain within highly regulated industries. He is the Engineering Director of Patheon Pharmaceuticals, Managing Partner at Tob Management, GMP Compliance Consultant at Quality Executive Partners. He is adept at streamlining processes via implementation of Lean Six Sigma concepts. and provides valuable training in diversity and teamwork to overcome cultural barriers and cultivate a more productive environment.

Irene Chesire, Kenya

Irene Chesire is a health policy and economics professional with education and experience in nursing, health systems management, clinical and operations research with a healthcare leadership career extending over a decade in Kenya and other countries of East Africa. She is the Founder of Mediscopes, a healthcare company based in Kenya and in her various capacities she has been instrumental in health policy formulation and implementation, developing audit and accreditation tools, implementing financial and strategic management systems, telemedicine systems, setting up award-winning call center and wellness programs, remodeling of networks of clinics, and setting up and managing healthcare insurance system.

Ruth Grant is based in Wellington and Wairarapa, New Zealand and is a Biomedical Engineer and Quality and Regulatory Consultant and Contractor for Biomedical Devices. She has worked with Ministry of Health of New Zealand as Principal Medical Device Specialist and was the Chair Person for the Medical Device Evaluation Committee, the Australian Medical Device Categorization Committee, the Chair Person of the NZ Categorization Committee, a Member of EMECC, and New Zealand Standards Committee Representative and on Nanotechnology Advisory Committee.
